Practical Advice

First, get organized.

Prepare meals in advance so you don’t have to cook every day.

Here is a list of tips and tricks to help you successfully prepare your recipes.

Make a list of meals you enjoy eating.

Use a food processor or blender to successfully make these recipes.

An immersion blender can also work.

If you have a meat grinder, finely chop cooked meat before putting it in the blender.

For better results, always blend small quantities at a time.

Personally, I bought some molds online for vegetables and meat.

If you don’t have molds for potatoes, an ice cream scoop is a good alternative.

Add instant thickener to sauces and soups when the texture is too liquid.

If using molds, apply a non-stick cooking spray or lightly coat them with vegetable oil before freezing.

When making balls with an ice cream scoop, place parchment paper on baking sheets to prevent sticking during freezing.

In the morning, take out the food you plan to eat during the day so it can thaw.

Before reheating meals in the microwave, always remove any melted ice or excess liquid from defrosting.
